WebNot sure for most screens, but my Asus ROG 144hz has a coloured light on the front. Red = GSync, Green = No GSync. If your framerate counter ever goes over your screen refresh rate, then it's not working. It should cap out at 144fps (or 60 / 120 depending on the screen) GSync works regardless of V-Sync, and makes V-Sync irrelevant.
