WebYou can only become Emperor when you have eastern or pagan faith. But you can switch religion after that and stay Emperor (as far as I know). Eastern Religion with the Karma system are kind of garbage in my opinion. Especially when you want to conquer a lot of land. Confucian would be the best of the eastern groups.
