They are....OK. 4.56 gears are better with 35s if you like words like squirt, responsive, torque. I can tell you I would not want to run 35s on the 3.73, the Jeep was sluggish enough with the 33s. I can already tell a difference with the 4.88 gears. With the exception of the stock gears, all gears deeper than 4.10 have been made by the same overseas supplier. Until now. Web11 giu 2024 · Jun 11, 2024. #9. 35's with 3.73 gears and 2.5" lift. Drives fine but l lose 8th gear on highway at an incline or into a slight headwind. Doesn't affect drivability but hurts the MPGs. 4.10s would help, but if you plan on going further with armor, bumpers, etc you would likely need to go deeper than 4.10s anyway.

IMO, 4.56s with the 6 speed, ... 35" tires + auto tranny + 4.10 years = DOG. 33's are marginal with stock gears and an auto.
