WebOct 2, 2007 · What is this "modeling" flash? I've only heard of preflash for E-TTL combined with an EX series flash. In fact, I saw my friend using this 380EX on his Powershot G2 which also uses E-TTL and I can clearly notice a preflash before the main flash. That's why I am asking this question since I cannot see this preflash on my Xti.
